The goal is to obtain a continuing stream of
information - globally - on small cats

The goal of the Small Cat Conservation
Alliance is to obtain a continuing stream of
information on all small cat species globally
to monitor their populations. To achieve
this goal partners will be “loaned” camera
phototraps to locate populations of small
cats and obtain information on other
wildlife in the area. If a sufficient number
of individuals of a given species is located,
more detailed studies might be undertaken.
The camera phototraps will enable detailed
studies to be undertaken but additional
partners necessary to support such
studies. Often Conservation International's
regional offices support the work of the
students.

Conservation must take place in the wild.
