Why is Sarawak important to cat conservation?
Sarawak, Malaysia, like Kalimantan, on the
island of Borneo has five species of cats:
Clouded leopard, Marbled cat, Leopard cat,
Flat-headed cat, and the Bay cat. The
geographic range of all these species is very
poorly known. Ideally, we aould also be
working in Sabah and Brunei also on Borneo.
