Jim Sanderson's work on behalf of the world's small cats is
supported by Wildlife Conservation Network, National
Geographic Society,  US Fish & Wildlife, Feline Conservation
Federation, Houston Zoo staff, and generous support from
partner organizations and individuals.  Jim is a voting
member of the IUCN Cat Specialist Group.
Small Wild Cat Conservation Foundation has two parts: current projects
(Small Cat Conservation Alliance), and Small Wild Cat Conservation
Endowment Fund
(an endowment fund) that contributes interest to
support current projects.

Goals for 2009
(1) Survey for especially threatened species such as Javan Fishing cat
(2) Support local students and colleagues carrying out conservation projects
(3) Create the first permanent Andean cat conservation & monitoring center
Objectives for 2009
(1) Help colleagues secure funding to support their projects
(2) Secure $25,000 in long-term financial commitments - $14,000 secured
(3) Increase Endowment to $250,000
