How to use ProcessiButton.exe (1) Download and store ProcessiButton.exe with all camera data processing programs (2) Open each iButton data *.csv file and save as text (space delimited). Answer YES to all questions Excel asks. This should result in the creation of a *.prn file. The prn file should look like something close to this: 1-Wire/iButton Part Number: DS1923 1-Wire/iButton Registration Number: 0600000019BE4A41 Mission in Progress? true SUTA Mission? false Waiting for Temperature Alarm? false Sample Rate: Every 3600 second(s) Mission Start Time: Tue Jul 26 13:29:01 MDT 2011 Mission Sample Count: 4096 Roll Over Enabled? false(no rollover occurred) First Sample Timestamp: Tue Jul 26 13:29:01 MDT 2011 Total Mission Samples: 4096 Total Device Samples: 10528 Temperature Logging: 0.5 C Temperature High Alarm: disabled Temperature Low Alarm: disabled Data Logging: 0.6 %RH Data High Alarm: disabled Data Low Alarm: disabled Date/Time Unit Value Unit Value 7/26/2011 13:29 %RH 42.078 C 27.582 etc. (3) Save a list of the *.prn files in a Notepad file: FileList.txt. FileList.txt should look like this: Chalk_Dep_Rh&T.prn Massacre_Gap_Rh&T.prn etc. (4) Double-click ProcessiButton.exe (5) Two output files are produced: Output.txt and QualityAssurance.txt. Output.txt is simply a list of the study day (aassumes study begins on 2009-01-01), hour, temperature and relative humidity. This will be used in DataAnalyze eventually. QualityAssurance.txt is an analysis of the iButton data before and after smoothing is applied.
